India a land known for multitudinous culture and each culture practiced its own festival. In a year we will not come across any month in which there is no religious festival. Festival brings us together and pursuing the same trend we at Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated and sanctified the much awaited festival of Janamasthmi.
he celebrations commenced two days prior when our pre primary and primary wing Sanskritians embellished and accessorized Flute , Earthen pots and crown Shri Krishna used to possess and wear. We don’t conceive in an idea of celebrating festivals just for the sake of it but we believe in travelling an extra mile to ingurgitate in our children the values and intend associated with it. Consecutively, our middle and senior wing celebrated this sanctimonious festival by organizing a Special Assembly in which diversified activities filled an aura with delectation and delirium. The assembly was commenced by school choir which with its mellifluous fascinated the entire school.
Ensuing this, the breath taking moment was when the special performance of ‘DAHI HANDI” dance set the stage on fire with its heart throbbing moments. It was so emblematic and synchronized that even the audience was engrossed in it completely and wished that it should continue for more duration.
The celebrations bring down the curtain with the impelling message by Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of our school Ms Rohini Aima who asserted that we celebrate this festival on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birth who came to this world to end the evil : in the same way we as humans have been sent to this green planet with a purpose which is working for the cause of humanity thereby ensuring peace and love which are the building blocks of life. She gave her wishes and blessings to Snskritians for successful future endeavors.
