RAJOURI, OCTOBER 01: District Development Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad today reviewed the status of various developmental projects in the district here at a meeting of line departments.
The meeting was attended by officers and engineers of R&B, PHE, PDD, Education, Health, Tourism and Irrigation, Flood Control.
The meeting finalised the Project for Universal coverage under PHE and decided to start Work on New Filtration Plant at Rajouri Town soon
About ongoing projects R&B, the meeting was informed that 131 roads under state plan are in different phase of execution while 76 bridges involving a cost of Rs 27 crore have been are languishing for different reasons.
It was further informed that 22 PHE schemes in Nowshera and 39 in Rajouri have been projected under languishing projects.
Similarly languishing projects projected under RDD sector include construction of community hall and bridges.
The DDC also reviewed the status of bunkers, Bela and Kotedhara Peerie roads.
