KARGIL, DECEMBER 01: Deputy Commissioner (DC) and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today reviewed the status of languishing projects in the district at a meeting of the concerned officers here.
Chief Planning Officer Kargil, Executive Engineers of various divisions and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The DC took brief from the officers about the status of ongoing works in different sectors.
It was given out in the meeting that a list of projects worth Rs 176.96 crores was submitted to the Government against which Rs 79.23 crores stands approved. Further a list of other languishing projects worth Rs 350.59 crores has also been submitted to the Ladakh Affairs Department.
The DC impressed on the concerned officers to ensure completion of all the ongoing works within the stipulated time frame while taking due care of quality parameters so that the benefits accrue to the general public in the best possible manner.
The DC also directed the Executive Engineers to expedite the execution of projects which have already been approved.
