KUPWARA, JUNE 02: DC Kupwara Khalid Jahangir today chaired a one day workshop to finalise the launch of Phase- II of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (GSA) and Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan (KKA) in the district as part of ‘Transformation of Aspirational District Programme’ of Government of India.
As already announced Government of India has launched Phase- II of GSA in which about 222 villages of district Kupwara having a population of more than 1000 persons are to be saturated in PMs 9 programmes scheme in ten weeks till 15th August. The schemes include Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana, Saubhagya- Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Mission Indradhanush, PM Ujala scheme, APY and PMMY.
DC directed the concerned officers to complete all requisite homework for launching the activities under Phase-II of the Abhiyan as soon as possible.
Among others, SE EM & RE Sopore, Programme Officer ICDS Kupwara, ACD Kupwara, CPO Kupwara, AD Food, CMO, Exen Electric Division Kupwara/Handwara, Lead District Manager Kupwara attended the meeting cum workshop.
