Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed his condolences on the killing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state secretary and his brother by unidentified gunmen in Kishtwar district.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, Mr Abdullah, who is National Conference (NC) vice-president, said “ Very sad news. My condolences to Anil & Ajit Parihar’s family & colleagues. May their souls rest in peace”.

Mr Omar also re-tweeted a tweet which reads “ Curfew being imposed in Kishtwar. Restrictions in other towns of Chinab Valley region. Security forces put on high alert”.
Anil and Ajit Parihar were fired upon by gunmen when they were returning from their shop last night in Kishtwar. They were immediately taken to hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
