Despite a sharp spike in the counter-insurgency operations, there hardly seems any let up in the militant attacks in south Kashmir.
In yet another attack on Monday evening, militants attacked an army camp in Bounra village of Pulwama district.
A police official said that militants fired a grenade at the army camp of 55 RR in Bounra village around 6:20 pm.
No casualties were reported, he said.
“Soon after the attack the army men fired several shots in air,” the official added
In the past 24 hours, it is the second attack on government forces by militants in the area.
