Youth NationalConference seeks Governor’s Intervention to maintain health care facilities in SMGS hospital

A delegation of JK Youth National Conference Jammu led by Provincial Vice President’s Rohit Bali and Kunwar Yashuvardhan Singh. Today visited the various wards and periphery of the SMGS hospital Jammu and interacted with the patients and there attendants. The delegation later also met the superintendent of the hospital and the CMO and apprised them about the problems being faced by the people. Speaking to the media Rohit Bali said, It’s a matter of shame that even the basic medicines and painkillers and even vaccines for small children are not available in the hospital. Sighting the recent example of Non availability of vaccines for 2 months old baby, that was highlited by the media. Bali appealed to the honourable Governor and his advisors to fix the accountability for such lapses by the hospital administration and to ensure that such shortages do not occur in the future. YNC leader Kunwar Yashuvardhan Singh also appealed to the Governor for issuing directions for ensuring quick and speedy treatment, specially for the patient of boder districts of Poonch and Rajouri. The YNC delegation also apprised the SMGS administration about the shabby state of affairs of the hospital with regard to cleanliness and patients hygiene especially dirty linen’s and laundry. The delegation also highlighted the problem faced by the ladies in the maternity wards, where 2-3 patients are sharing one bed. Among those who accompanied the YNC delegation included, Anju Grover, Mehak Sharam , Aman Cheema, Abhay Bakaya, Tanveer Singh, Vishal Thakur , Arun Sharam, Ajay Kumar.
