MP villager tied to tree, arm chopped off over missing cows

A family of five allegedly tied a 35-year-old man to a tree and “chopped off his arms in fight over missing cows” in a village at Raisen in Madhya Pradesh.

The incident was reported on Sunday, after Prem Sahu went to Sattu Yadav’s farm to find his cows, which were missing since Friday.

Police said Yadav picked up a fight with Sahu soon he saw him and the two stared abusing each other.

In the meanwhile, Yadav’s family also reached the spot and they allegedly beat him up.

They tied him to a tree and cut off his arms with a sword.

Police said that no one came to his rescue even though Sahu was screaming for help. He was later taken to a hospital. Police took the severed arm to the hospital. They have arrested two men and three members of the family, including a woman, are missing.
