KHARAR: A 13-year-old boy, Ayush, who is a resident of Mehak Nagar, Kharar, was dropped in Mohali by his kidnappers. He was allegedly kidnapped by three car-borne persons on Tuesday morning.
According to the statement given by the boy at the Kharar police station, he had gone to the market to buy a cake to celebrate his mother’s birthday.
Three car-borne persons came there, kidnapping and taking him to Mohali. They had covered his eyes with their hands.
He was thrown out of the car in Mohali. Some workers working there informed the police. From Mohali, the boy was taken to the Kharar police station.
ASI Harjeet Singh of the Kharar police said they were watching the footage of the CCTV cameras installed at the kidnapping spot to identify the accused. — OC
