Srinagar, Oct 3: Jammu and Kashmir police has strongly denied the media reports that two Army personnel were injured in militant attack in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Tuesday night.

Several national television channels had last night claimed that militants ambushed an army patrol party at Redwani, Kulgam in which two Army men were injured.

The report which was also tweeted by the correspondents of the respective channels, said that the injured were admitted to 92 base hospital in Srinagar.

A police spokesman on official Twitter account of Jammu & Kashmir Police said “ This tweet is incorrect. We expect responsible tweets from responsible journalists and news channels.”
