Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Departmental Clerical Staff Association organized a candle light march from Pratap Park Srinagar to Press Colony. The march was led by Mr Malik Mohammad Farooq, General Secretary , who once again reiterated to the Government that their struggle shall continue till their 21 year long pending demand of pay anomaly of clerical staff is not addressed by the Government. Mr M.M Farooq criticized the Govt. for their delay tactics by framing committees after committees. All the protesting clerical staff were demanding fulfillment of the promises made by the Ex Finance Minister that their demands shall be met before implementation of the 7th Pay Commission. Mr M.M Farooq assured the fraternity that their struggle especially during the last three weeks shall not go in vain.
