POONCH, JULY 03: District Administration Poonch has provided over 2000 services and resolved public issues during field camps of Revenue Department held in each Tehsil under public reach out programme.
The services delivered included 520 Revenue Extracts, 528 Category Certificates (ST, ALC, OBC), 270 income certificates, 131 Character Certificates, 123 Mutations, 113 PRC and 353 miscellaneous services.
The camps were held in Tehsil Mendhar, Mandi, Surankote, Balakote and Mankote on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad.
Pertinently, the district administration has organised a series of public outreach campaign and mass contact programmes in past months. The DC himself held public outreach programmes at Mankote, Balakote, Surankote, Mendhar and Mandi tehsils of the district and addressed public issues.
The camps witnessed huge public turnout at different places and local populace appreciated the promptness shown by District Administration in resolving public issues pending for long time, providing services enlisted in PSGA 2011 in time bound manner and getting them involved in the development process of the district.
Expressing satisfaction over performance of different departments, the DC assured that general public will see these people friendly measures on regular basis. He further said that the camps are scheduled keeping in view the local topography thereby sparing people from visiting Headquarter which is far off from many rural and border areas.
