BJP in charge for Dooru-Verinag municipal committee and several other candidates of the party on Thursday withdrew their nominations for the upcoming municipal polls.
Ghulam Hassan Bhat, who was in-charge of Dooru-Verinag area of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), told that he had withdraws and also given up his basic membership of the party.
A resident of Dooru tow, Bhat joined the BJP soon after his retirement as a Range officer few years back.
He blamed the party for “deceiving people by making fake promises”
