PCCF interacts with newly appointed Forest Guards

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 04: The Principal Chief Conservator (PCC) Forests, J&K, Suresh Chugh, today had an interactive session with the newly appointed forest guards of Kashmir Region here.

The new recruits numbering 155 include candidates from Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama and Anantnag of South Kashmir, Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipora of North Kashmir and Budgam and Ganderbal of Central Kashmir.

The formal appointment orders to them were issued today by the Chief Conservator of Forests Kashmir. The appointment of candidates hailing from Srinagar district is under process.

The PCC Forests said the fresh recruits will remove the shortage of frontline staff in the field and help in the better protection of forests. He also said that vacant posts at various levels shall also be filled in the coming days.

He wished the newly recruited forest guards successful service tenure and asked them to work with dedication, discipline and zeal.
