Who is a teacher? Came the most befitting and most flattering explanation where a teacher is said to be the ‘ one who can inspire students through her knowledge , skills and attitudes. This year we thought of celebrating this revered day in an idiosyncratic way to make our “GURUS” feel special. A teacher affects eternity and to pay gratitude and tribute to society changers we at Jammu Sanskritii School, Jammu has organized two days celebration : one in the school premises followed by lunch for the teachers at Palm Island a place which is known for its scrumptious cuisines. All enjoyed their lunch bestowed with laughter and happiness.
5th September – a benchmark in the history of education. On this day Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishan was born and had brought a sea change in the education system .He is being highly regarded all over the world. So we occasioned our day by ennobling and glorifying this man by lightening lamp in front of his portrait and showering flowers. Consecutively the choir of the school presented a symphony which made all the teachers feel privileged and honored. A while later, speech in both the languages were delivered by our Sanskritians in which they highlighted the momentousness of celebrating the day and expressed their requital to their teachers on behalf of entire student fraternity. Trailing this many absorbing acts like dance, poem , skit etc were showcased which brought mirth and made the entire school jubilant.
Sanskritians didn’t believe in just satiating their appetite merely by this; so they have planned something more for their teachers who always stood beside them. Succeeding this, they bequeathed titles to their teachers followed by cake cutting ceremony. The smile on the faces of teachers were worth noticing and satisfying.
Ms. Sunakshi Anand and Ms. Harleen Anand from Management and Principal cum Vice Chairperson Ms Rohini Aima distributed gifts among teachers. The celebration wrapped up with the best wishes from The Management and like always with eye opening message from our Principal Cum Vice Chairperson Ms. Rohini Aima who is actually the navigating force behind our teachers excellence. She bestowed her blessing and quoted that ‘Quality’ is the word which defines perfection and a teachers work is reflected through the quality he/she delivers in the classroom. So the teacher should dwell as LIFE signifying where clear vision, mission and goals are obligatory.
