PULWAMA, DECEMBER 05: The District Development Commissioner Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar along with the officers of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, today visited Chandgam Pulwama and inspected the State land measuring around 1000 kanals for setting up IIM out-campus there.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildar Pulwama and revenue officials accompanied the DDC.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that this huge chunk of land can be used for the construction of certain important developmental projects especially for the Institution for Management, Health and Medical Education, and technical education.
It is pertinent to mention that the people of the area have expressed their desire to cooperate with the District administration regarding the issues of land development and its smooth acquisition. DDC interacted with the locals and the members of civil society on the occasion.
