PULWAMA, JULY 06: Vaccination Drive was today held for the intending Hajj Pilgrims of Pulwama District.
The Vaccination is done as a precautionary measure to protect pilgrims from any contagious disease during the annual pilgrimage.
On the occasion, DDC Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar said that the vaccination is done as per the guidelines and is being administered free of cost. He expressed his well wishes to the pilgrims and pray for their safe travel.
Pilgrims hailing from Pulwama, Litter and Shahora Tehsils were vaccinated at Old Hospital Complex Pulwama Whereas, the pilgrims from tehsil Pampore and Kakapora were vaccinated at Sub-District Hospital Pampore and the pilgrims hailing from Tral and Aripal were vaccinated at the Sub District Hospital Tral. Similarly, the pilgrims from Tehsil Rajpora and Awantipora were vaccinated at CHC Rajpora and Primary Health Centre Awantipora.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mohammad Jaffar, Block Medical officers and other concerned officials were also present on vaccination centers.
