SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 6, 2018 – Advisor to the Governor, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has deeply mourned the sad demise of former Senior Administrator, Syed Ahmad Sayeed Qadri and former head of the Houseboat Owners Association, Mr. Mohammad Azim Tuman.
In his condolence message, Ganai described SAS Qadri as an outstanding officer who served the state with great distinction in various capacities, including that as Divisional Commissioner. “Mr. SAS Qadri was known for his dedication and administrative acumen. His work as a Revenue administrator and in the Food & Supplies Department is remembered even today,” he added.
In Azim Tuman’s death, the Advisor he said the tour and travel industry has lost an icon known for his contribution to the development of tourism sector in the State.
Ganai expressed sympathies with both the bereaved families for the irreparable loss and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
