*Female Drug Peddler Arrested, 600 Grams of Charas Recovered:*
Ramban 05.11.2018: A female drug peddler, orignally a resident of Shopian area of the Valley has been arrested by Banihal police along with 600 grams of Charas. The accused pedller was arrested from the area adjoining Railway station Ramban.
Police had received a tip off about a female peddler selling narcotic substances to the youth of Banihal and working on it a special team of Police headed by SHO Banihal developed leads and finally managed to apprehend the lady along with 600 gms of charas.
The apprehended lady has been identified as Halima Begum W/O Ab Rashid Dar R/O Wandon, Zainpora Shopian.
While talking to Paigaam, a police officer revealed that a case under FIR No. 196/2018 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has beed registered at Police Station Banihal against the accused lady.
