LAL SINGH DOES A BIPLAB DEB, INVENTS TRUTH MACHINE IN KATRA.
Bjp leaders seem to have taken it unto themselves to make their party a laughing stock. After Tripura chief minister Biplab Deb, announced that Internet Service and satellites were available during Mahabharta times, it’s now BJP leader Lal Singh from J&k who invents ‘Truth Machine’ while addressing a rally in Katra area. Lal Singh can be seen in the video attached below, telling the unsuspecting audience that narco test is a machine and once the subject is put into the machine, it extracts truth out of the subject.
Lal Singh has been continuously leading protest marches and demanding CBI inquiry in Kathua rape and murder case of an eight year old nomadic girl . He had to resign from the J&K cabinet on the very same issue as his support for CBI demand had caused major embarrassment to BJP nationally and internationally. How ever Lal Singh even after loosing his ministry, has been garnering support for CBI inquiry along with Hindu Ekta Manch by taking out rallies in Jammu belt.
Demand for CBI inquiry and narco test are being seen as mere delaying tactics and an attempt to create ‘outside noise ‘ ahead of Supreme Court hearing on Monday. The rape accused BJP MLA from Unao has also been asking for CBI inquiry and narco test. The investigation in Kathua rape and murder case is High Court monitored and Supreme Court too has already taken up the issue. Under such circumstances govt. can neither change the investigating agency nor can it order a CBI inquiry. Such an order has to come from the court. Tactics of putting pressure on govt. does work in many cases, but it would be interesting to see how Supreme Court chooses to react on Monday.
The demand for narco test is also based on a false premise as narco test reports are not admissible in courts as evidence. Also, that narco test is not a truth machine but it’s akin to reading the dreams of a person. Sodium Pentothal or Sodium Amytal are injected into a subject to take him to a semi conscious state and experts try to make sense of answers given in such a sate.
