Last Video of deceased trekkers from Kolahoi glacier in South Kashmir

A Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officer was among two persons feared dead after a group of trekkers met with an accident at Kolahoi glacier in Pahalgam on Friday.

An official said that the group of nine people had left on an expedition Friday morning.

“They were coming down from the glacier when they fell into a crevice,” he added.

Two members of the group, including excise and taxation officer Naveed Jeelani of Srinagar and Adil Shah of Alpine group, are feared dead in the accident while another person, identified as Hazik suffered grievous injuries, the official added.

He said that the teams of state police, SDRF and local volunteers were on way to Kolahoi to carry out a rescue operation.

Liddervat is around 30 kilometer from Aru Valley of Pahalgam and it takes around 12 hours to reach there.
