PULWAMA, AUGUST 09: District Development Commissioner Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar today convened a meeting of District Advisory committee on youth programmes to discuss the Annual Action Plan 2018-19 and Kashmiri Youth Exchange Programme of Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) at DC office Complex Pulwama.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, and District Youth Coordinator, officers of Different Departments and representatives of societies.
On the Occasion, District Youth Coordinator NYK briefly informed the meeting about the activities of the NYK in the district.
Speaking on the Occasion, DDC said that Govt has launched various programmes for the youth to provide an opportunity for the development of their personality and skills. He said that youth clubs always work as per local needs and requirements by mobilizing resources from various government departments and other agencies. He further said that need of the hour is to organize mega awareness camps to aware the youth about different State and Centre Govt schemes.
