Khour police worked out a murder case of a woman by arresting her husband.
As per police sources, a woman was found murdered in a gutter of a house in Khour tehsil yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Suman Kumari (29), wife of Data Ram Sahu, a resident of Chattisgarh, at present Khour.
The matter came to light yesterday morning, when a man identified as Mohinder Paul, who was also living on rent in the same house, while coming out from the house, observed some foul smell coming out from the gutter. When, he opened the gutter and he was shocked to see the dead body of a woman in the gutter.
He immediately informed his neighbours and Police Station Khour. A team of police immediately reached the spot and fished out the semi-decomposed body of the woman from the gutter and shifted it to Primary Health Centre, Pallanwala, where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under FIR Number 63/18 under Section 302 RPC was registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, it came to fore that the lady was murdered by her husband. Police immediately swung into action and arrested the accused husband.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Khour Inspector Joginder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
