Former minister & MLA inderwal G M saroori visited diffrent far flung villages of inderwal kishtwar to continue his social outreach programme and redressal of people’s grievances.while inspecting the ongoing developmental works,he visited the famous resort of Mughal maidan which also holds the trout fish farm developed in his earlier stint and directed the concerned department to construct another water park there as welll on the pattern of chatroo where thousands of people visit every day to spend qualitative time.It is pertinent to mention here that the chatroo water park is one of its first kind water recreation park ever developed in the district which has been conceptualized by saroori himself.The governer while taking the review meet had specifically mentioned and appreciated the judicious use of CDF and other allied government funds in inderwal constituency.
The MLA accompanied by various officers directed them to complete the work in stipulated time and release the payments of MGNREGA and other progressive works.various deputations met him on way and apprised him of their problems which the MLA redressed through on spot instructions to the officers.
While adressing the mammoth rally saroori reteirated his stand that he has always been accessible to the people and will continue to do so in future as well.In a recent survey by one of the social audit group,inderwal and its peripheries have seen the highest number of tourist influx including foreigners,bikers and umpteen locals as well.saroori said that he wants to make his area the top tourist destination which connects kashmir with chenab valley and dreams to bring it on world tourist map.He said that he has contacted top event and tourist management companies to prepare a master plan for its development which would open the flood gates of employment for the local youth and give impetus to local economy.
Various political workers of NC BJP and other parties in large numbers joined congress in his presence and reposed their commitment and vowed to work for making Saroori’s dream a living reality.Saroori welcomed the new entrants and assured them that they will see a new era under the coming government of congress which always works for poor and down trodden.
