A bag containing a laptop and Rs 1.5 lakh and three other bags containing toys were stolen from a Ford Endeavour in Sector 34 this afternoon.
The complainant, Navneet Syal, a resident of Sector 48, arrived at her office with her hubsband Nipun around 2.15 pm. They parked the SUV on the rear side of the office.
Around 15 minutes later, Nipun sent the office boy, Ajay, to get the bags from the SUV. However, Ajay found that there were no bags in the vehicle. He informed Nipun about the theft following which the police were informed. Later, a person called up the complainant saying that the bags were lying near an SBI ATM in Sector 34, but these were empty.
