At least two rounds of funeral prayers were held for two slain teenage militants in Hajin localities of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.

An eye witness said that thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of Mudasir Parrey (14) and Saqib Bilal Sheikh (17) who were killed in a gunfight with the forces along with a Pakistani militant in Mujgund on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday.

The eye witness said that thousands of people including women and children rallied with the bodies of the slain militants through the streets of Hajin town since early morning.

“The bodies were rallied in a procession through every locality of Hajin. Later, they were taken to Eidgah where thousands attended the funeral prayers,” he said.
