SRINAGAR, MAY 10: Minister for Disaster Management, Relief Rehabilitation and Reconstruction and Floriculture, Javaid Mustafa Mir, today conducted an extensive tour of Chadoora constituency to inspect pace of work on developmental projects being executed by different agencies.
While inspecting the developmental works, the Minister directed concerned authorities to bring swiftness in developmental works going on in the constituency. He exhorted upon the concerned officials to ensure that quality of works is not compromised with and to complete all the works on time.
The Minister also paid a surprise visit to the Sub-district hospital Chadoora to enquire about the various facilities offered to patients at the hospital.
During the visit, the Minister was informed that efforts are underway to augment the existing infra in the hospital. Besides, major components including setting up of other units in the hospital are underway. To upgrade the basic facilities in the hospital, the Minister directed the concerned officers to formulate a DPR so that better healthcare facilities are provided to the patients in the hospital.
Mir directed the health officers to prioritize the sanitation and cleaning process in and around the hospital. He also directed them for proper sewage disposal to reduce health hazards.
During the visit, the Minister interacted with several deputations and received the first-hand appraisal of their issues and demands. He patiently listened to the grievances and assured that their genuine issues would be considered and redressed in a time-bound manner.
