MEHBOOBA SHOULD RESIGN OR SAY GOOD BYE TO ARMY CHIEF’S STATEMENT
SRINAGAR ,10 MAY: Reacting to the Army Chief’s statement, senior National Conference leader Akbar Lone told the media persons that the Army Chief had undermined the authority of the Chief Minister and his statement had proven that state of J&K was not governed by the democratically elected Chief Minister but by the army. Army Chief had earlier made a statement that the youth of Kashmir need to be told that Azadi will never happen.
Earlier during the day, chief minister Mehbooba Mufti had called for a ceasefire during the month of Ramadan. State BJP too has reacted sharply to CM’s statement and stated that cease fire is not an option.
