Government forces on Tuesday launched a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) in Saidpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that a joint team of the army’s 22 RR, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Police and CRPF sealed the area and conducted door-to-door searches.
They said that searches were launched after inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
