SAMBA, MAY 11: A meeting of District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, S Rajinder Singh Tara, here today.
During its proceedings, the Committee approved 75 cases amounting to Rs 5.25 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC asked the concerned departments to ensure maximum awareness about various schemes to the unemployed youth for the creation of sustainable business units under various schemes.
He further said that for the successful outcome of government schemes collaboration among all stakeholders along with hand holding of budding entrepreneurs by the implementing departments at all stages like awareness, approval by the Committee, bank facilitation and creation of viable units on the ground, is essential.
He also emphasized the role of banks in facilitating finance to the interested entrepreneurs and directed the implementing agencies to pursue the cases with banking institutions.
Among others, present on the occasion were ADC,Tilak Raj Shastri, CPO, GM DIC, Principal of ITI, Officers of KVIB and KVIC, representative from various banks and members of SC/ST.
