Haryana Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Karan Dev Kamboj said the present government, led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, had worked with the spirit of ‘Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek’.
The government had proved that it did not belong to any particular region, class or category, rather it was for the people of the state, while during the 10-year tenure of the previous government, there was resentment among people for carrying out biased development works.
The state government had promoted all-round development in the state and had also accelerated the pace of modern and infrastructural development.
Kamboj said ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ had successfully improved the sex ratio and Haryana was also awarded for its excellent contribution to Swacch Bharat Mission by the Government of India.
He said the CM had made efforts to end corruption and bring transparency. Digitalisation of many public services, e-seva, e-tendering and other initiatives had curbed corruption. Now, government jobs were being given on the basis of merit. The state government had also worked for the welfare of farmers. The compensation amount, in case of loss of crops, had also been increased to Rs 12,000 per acre, Kamboj added.
