First batch of 800 Hajj pilgrims leaves for Saudi Arabia

SRINAGAR, JULY 14: The First batch of Haj pilgrims today left for Saudi Arabia from Srinagar International Airport to perform this year’s Haj pilgrimage.

According to a spokesman of the State Hajj Committee, a total of 800 Haj pilgrims embarked for pilgrimage which included 430 male and 370 female through four flights. 340 pilgrims boarded first flight, 150 each in second and third flights and 160 in fourth flight to Saudi Arabia.
