Two persons were injured after their car met with an accident at Pul Doda area on Saturday, police said.
An official said that a car (bearing registration number JK06-6146) was heading towards Doda when it skidded off the road and rolled down 150 metres downhill before ending up in Chenab river.
Both the occupants of the car were injured in the accident and were rushed to Doda district hospital, said Zohaib Hassan, DySP Traffic Doda-Kishtwar.
They were identified as Fareed Ahmed (27) son of Ghulam Mohd resident of Akaramabad, Doda and Surjeet Kumar (28) son of Bodh Raj Resident of Dessa.
Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Doda and further investigation is going on, said the official.
