People of Shopian Hail Government Decision of upgrading Sub District Hospital Shopian to District Hospital. People met and thanked Deputy Commissioner Shopian Dr Owais Ahmed.
Shopian 14 Dec; People of Hilly District Shopian hailed the Government decision of upgrading Sub District Hospital to District Hospital, which was a long pending demand of the area.
As soon as the news of upgradation of Hospital was made public, people from different walks of life reached Mini Secretariat and congratulated Deputy Commissioner Shopian Dr Owais Ahmed and thanked him for his efforts.
Local Auqaf committee ,trade fedatration,
and other senior Citizens of the District presented a bouquet to the worthy District Development Commissioner.
On the occasion President of Trade federation Gh Nabi Turay said “ It is a moment of pride for us that the long pending demand of the district has been met. We are highly indebted to the DC Shopian for his efforts in this cause.”
On this occasion DDC Shopian congratulated the delegation and said that the government is working towards development of the district. He assured that the genuine demands of the public are being considered and will be addressed in time bound manner.
