One terrorist was killed while two Army personnel got injured during an ongoing encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Safawali Gal area in Kupwara along the Line of Control. According to news agency ANI, an AK-47 rifle has been recovered from the terrorist.
On Sunday, a security personnel was killed while another was critically injured in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kupwara. The encounter took place in the Handwara region of the district.
The police had launched a search and cordon operation on Saturday evening after they got information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
