Security forces arrested a suspected militant along with a pistol and other arms and ammunition in South Kashmir district of Pulwama on Monday morning, official sources said.
They said on a tip-off security forces arrested a suspected militant at village Khulyana, Pulwama.
A pistol, a magazine and other arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession.
Confirming the arrest, the district police chief Mohammad Aslam Choudary said a case has been registered and the investigations were underway.
