Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India today visited, PGIMER, Chandigarh

Presentations on PGIMER and upcoming projects were made to apprise Mr Ashwani Kumar about the present patient rush in the OPDs, Emergency and Trauma Centre. Honorable minister interacted with various Heads of Departments and faculty of the Institute. He appreciated the contribution of PGIMER as a premier hospital and a public institute. He recognized the excellence of PGI doctors in research, education and patient care and said that they were amongst the best in the country and had immense capability of contributing new ideas in improving the general health care system ofIndia. Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGIMER presented a memento to the Honorable Minister.
