KUPWARA, DECEMBER 17: Dr O. P Bhuraita, Director State Resource Center Shimla Cum Cluster Coordinator Northern Zone (Jammu and Kashmir) today visited Kupwara and held a meeting here to review the launch of second phase survey under Transformation of Aspirational District (TAD) programme and issues related.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Imtiyaz Ahmad, ACR, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, CEO and other concerned.
The joint Director planning briefed the visiting officers about the progress registered under Aspirational DIstrictProgramme and highlighted the key achievements under Five Thematic areas viz Health, Education, Agriculture, Basic Infrastructure, Financial Inclusion, and Skill Development. It was recorded that 95% of schools have been provided drinking water supply and 135 Higher Secondary Schools have been provided electricity, 19 sub-centres have been created as Health and Wellness Centres, and work on 119 ICDS centers is in progress.
The visiting officers discussed issues related to the launch of the second phase of the survey in the District. The survey team deferred the Education survey owing to winter vacations. However, the survey of Health department shall be started shortly.
The visiting team shared an analytical report on key indicators with the officers.
