JAMMU, JULY 18: A plantation drive was organized here at Government Women Industrial Training Institute, Akhnoor Road.
The drive was held in collaboration with “Rotary Club Jammu Aastha” and under the supervision of Rajesh Gupta, Superintendent of the host institute. The faculty members and trainees from all trades participated in the event.
President “Rotary Club Jammu Aastha” N. K Gupta was the chief guest who launched the drive by planting different types of plants and encouraged students to plant more trees and take care of their plantations.
In his address, the Superintendent said that Institute is planning to organise and welcome more such activities as trees play an important role in protecting and preserving the environmental and ecological balance.
Anoop Sharma, Principal Govt. ITI Jammu also participated in the event.
