Few gunshots were heard near Wagad and Pastuna villages of Tral township in Pulwama district on Wednesday evening, locals and police said.
Some gunshots were heard at around Pastuna crossing causing panic among the inhabitants.
SSP Awantipora Mohammad Zahid Malik told meida some bangs were heard but no one is injured. The sound of the bangs he said could be of fire crackers.
