Several persons, including the tehsil president of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, were detained during night raids in Anantnag town of south Kashmir.
Reports said that several youth were detained after the police carried out night raids in parts of the town.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Anantnag tehsil president Ashiq Hussain was among those detained during the raids, said a source.
