Shutdown is being observed in Anantnag town in south Kashmir to protest the killing of a youth in forces’ action during clashes near gunfight site in Kulgam on September 15.
Reports said that all shops and other commercial establishments are closed in the town to mourn the death of Rouf Ahmad Ganai of Al Farooq Colony Anchidora.
Ganai was killed in forces’ action on protesters near the site of the gunfight in Chowgam area of Devsar on September 15.
Meanwhile, people are visiting his family at his home in Al Farooq Colony to offer their condolences.
