New Delhi, December 18: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday intensified his attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government over farm loan waiver. A day after Congress governments in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh announced waiver of loans borrowed by farmers, Rahul Gandhi alleged the Modi government did not give any relief to farmers in the last four years.
Gandhi accused the Modi government of shying away from the debate over Rafale deal in Parliament. When asked for his comment on ‘typo error’ in the Supreme Court ruling about JPC, the Congress leader said such typo errors will now emerge in everything. “JPC, Rafale, farm loan waivers, demonetization, typo errors will soon emerge in everything,” he said.
Rahul Gandhi evades question on Sajjan Kumar’s conviction in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. “I have made my position on the riots very clear, and I have said this before. This press conference is about the farmers of the country,” he said.
