JAMMU, DECEMBER 18: Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (JKKVIB) today organized one day training and orientation workshop for Principals of Polytechnics, Principals and Superintendents of ITIs of Jammu to create awareness among students about various schemes being implemented by the Board.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO/Secretary JKVIB, Rashid Qadri said the government has launched number of schemes for the unemployed youth, especially for the backward classes for their socio-economic economic development.
He said the Board recently has come up with a new scheme Rural Employment Generation Programme to encourage more youth establish their enterprises with lucrative incentives.
Secretary directed the officers to encourage unemployed youth to avail benefit of these schemes and to “become job providers instead of job seekers”.
Highlighting the National Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Hub Scheme, Qadri saidit is an initiative of the Government of India todevelop a supportive ecosystem in a bid to encourage SC-ST MSMEs.
JKKVIB Board Member, Rajesh Bakshi, Deputy CEO KVIB Jammu, Pawan Kumar Gupta, FA&CAO KVIB, Mohammad Ashraf Iqbal Haqla, Joint Director Technical Education and other officers and officials of the JKKVIB were present on the occasion.
