JAMMU, JUNE 18 – To finalize the necessary arrangements for the celebrations of International Yoga Day – 2018, a meeting of district officers was held under the chairmanship of Additional Development Commissioner, Arun Manhas at KKHakku Stadium here today.
Threadbare discussions on various arrangements related to the smooth conduct of the function like seating, barricading, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, first- aid, medicare, sanitation, security, transport and traffic regulations to the people participating in the function were discussed in the meeting.
The ADC asked the concerned officers to ensure better coordination for making effective arrangements pertaining to their departments for making a function grand success. “It is our responsibility that all necessary arrangements are ensured well in time” he said, adding that it must be ensured that no participant faces any kind of difficulty during the event.
He also asked for making seating arrangements at the venue for the elderly dignitaries.
