SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 19: Commissioner Surveys and Land Records (ex officio settlement Commissioner) Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today visited district Samba and Kathua to review the progress of implementation of Digital India Land Records Modernization programme (DILRMP).
The Commissioner was accompanied by ADDC Samba Pankaj Magotra , ADC Samba Arun Manhas, ADC Kathua Ghanshyam Singh , ACR Samba Kulbhushan Khajuria, ACR Kathua Jatinder Mishra and Tehsildar with CS&LR Kunal Sharma.
He was apprised that 3.96 lakh and 4.12 lakh revenue documents have been scanned in District Samba and Kathua respectively.He was further informed that about 3.15 lakh and 2.92 lakh documents have been approved after quality check by the Department. The Revenue officers accompanying the commissioner surveys and land records ( CS&LR) were asked the concerned officers to deploy more manpower to expedite the pace of scanning of land records and its quality check.
He also directed the concerned officers to gear up the field staff to complete the writing up of the pending Jamabandis of 2014-18 within next 6 months and to conduct periodic review meetings with the subordinate staff so that the pending Jamabandis are prepared in a time bound manner which are required for their digitization under DILRMP.
