RAJOURI, DECEMBER 19: District Information Centre today convened a meeting with press fraternity to discuss the issues concerning the local media.
President Press Club AvinashJasyal, Vice President Arif Qureshi and members including Varinder Malhotra, Abdul Qyoom lone(president cable network association), Tazim Dar, Sumit Bhargav, Amit Sharma, Azad Rahat, Sushil Dutta, Abid Malik, Tazim Malik Umer Arshad, Kush Gupta, Rakesh Tara, Sanjay Bali, Bala Ram, ShafaqatWani, Azad Hussain, Ankit Kesar, ShivamBakshi, Nawaz lone, Rahul Sudan, Irfan lone, Sahil Ahnger Amit Sharma and others attended the meeting and discussed issues facing media persons.
During the interaction, various issues were projected like development of additional infrastructure in Press Club, provision for water supply in the form of Hand pump, street lights, development of Press club lawn, accreditation of the media persons, issuance of press cards and time-bound response of the issues.
The DIO assured the media persons that all their genuine demands will be taken up with the concerned authorities for early remedy.
