Fakhar Zaman, opener from Pakistan cricket team became the first batsman from his country to score a double hundred in ODI cricket matches when he scored 210 against Zimbabwe, today in the 4th one day international being played between the two cricketing nations. Fakhar scored an unbeaten 210 off just 156 balls. Pakistan fell one run short of reaching 400, ending the innings on 399/1.
During this knock of 210, the 28-year old Fakhar Zaman, surpassed Saeed Anwar’s record for the highest individual score (194) for Pakistan.
This is the 8th double century scored in ODI cricket till date and Tendulkar was the first to cross this mark.
