Karnal, December 20: Two schoolchildren were on Thursday killed and eight others injuried when the school bus they were travelling in collided with a trawler.
The irate mob set the trawler and a truck on fire and blocked Karnal-Indri state highway near Janesaro.
The situation was said to be tense in the area. The police have reached the spot and are trying to convince the mob.
