NC General secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar has asked the central government to reverse the “hard line confrontationist approach” on Jammu and Kashmir and begin a “political dialogue with all political shades of opinion.”
In its resolution, the party demanded that Delhi- Kashmir dialogue must be accompanied by a resumption of talks with Pakistan in which as part of the dialogue, the issue of Kashmir should also be taken up.
The resolution states that the PDP-BJP coalition government has deepened the communal divide between Jammu and the Valley. The party has come down heavily on central government for its handling of the state.
